Vincent Ellwood Sr. started the current Boulder Cleaners, formally Dugout Cleaners, in 1923 on the University Hill in Boulder. Mr. Ellwood Sr. ran the Dugout Cleaners with the help of his two sons, Vincent Ellwood Jr. and William Ellwood.
